Mission Statement

Her Place is dedicated to providing supportive services for women recovering from the effects of substance abuse and other addictions.

We provide counseling and education in a safe and caring environment and foster positive changes in the mind, body and spirit of recovering women.

Corporate Structure

Paths to Recovery for Women, Inc., DBA Her Place, is a non-profit corporation, organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. We will accept only unrestricted funds as donations and/or payment.

We are certified with the State of California - Certification #300202AN.

Our Staff

Our highly experienced staff of counselors has unique talents to provide meaningful help to the recovering woman (view photos).

Patty Oslinker-Moore, CADC-II, NCACII
Executive Director
Patty brings 25 years of experience in the field including 7 years as Executive Director of a large multi-program center. She is certified at the highest level statewide, nationally and internationally.

Joanne Shelly, CATC
Program Director
Joanne has served as Program Director of a large center for 10 years and as a certified counselor for 7 years prior to that position. She is especially adept at creating innovative programs for women.

Sue Berger, CATC
Senior Counselor
Sue has 20 years of experience as a certified counselor. She is particularly talented in conducting group sessions and also counsels individual clients

Nola Wood
Yoga Consultant

Nola is offering a class in Svaroopa yoga. This therapeutic style of Hatha yoga is very approachable for students at all levels. Nola has completed the Foundations of Svaroopa Yoga Program through the Master Yoga Foundation.

Lynne Reader
Administrator

Lynne is our office administrator and is experienced in processing client contracts and supporting our clients with respect and confidentiality. Lynne also has personal experience in recovery. She shares experience, strength, love and hope to our women here at Her Place.
